The Bel Air Lions have been asked by the Town of Bel Air, to host a fun, family event for the Town, “The Bel Air Town Derby”. The purpose of this event is to encourage families to come into Bel Air and enjoy all that Bel Air has to offer and build on the tremendous success of the first Bel Air Town Derby in October 2023; and to begin a new tradition in Bel Air. This will add to the many activities to celebrate Bel Air’s 150th anniversary in 2024.
When, Where, What?
- This is a free (no cost of admission) event.
- Sunday June 23, 2024, 11:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
- Main Street Bel Air, between Office Street and Lee Way.
- There will be at least 20 cars racing in a series of two car heats.
- This is not a sanctioned Soap Box Derby event. However, only official Soap Box Derby “Stock” cars will be permitted. “Super Stock” and “Masters” will not be permitted this year.
