As the days grow longer and the first blossoms of spring appear, creativity is also blooming in Bel Air. This season, the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission is proud to present the “Bel Air Spring Art Exhibition” in partnership with the Bel Air Branch of the Harford County Public Library (HCPL) and Harford County Public Schools (HCPS). The exhibit captures the spirit of renewal, growth, and imagination — all beautifully reflected through the eyes of our talented local students at Homestead-Wakefield Elementary School, Bel Air Elementary School, Bel Air Middle School, and Bel Air High School.
Visitors will be greeted by a colorful and inspiring collection of artwork displaying a variety of mediums and subjects that will offer an uplifting experience for all who attend.
“We at HCPS are excited to partner with the Cultural Arts Commission and HCPL on this exhibit,” says Dawn Stone, HCPS Fine Arts Curriculum Specialist. “Our dedicated teachers have been inspiring students’ talents and creativity every step of the way. This collaboration brings education and the arts together in our community, creating meaningful experiences for everyone involved.”
The Bel Air Library serves as the perfect setting for this showcase, where families, friends, and community members can come together to see the world through the eyes of our young artists – and leave inspired by the beauty of their creations!
The quality of the artwork speaks very highly of the talent and hard work of the students and their art teachers,” says Jeanne Close, Chair of the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission. “Congratulations, students and teachers, on a job very well done.”
The exhibit will be on display with free admission throughout the month of May in the Bel Air Library’s exhibit room (outside the passport office) during regular library hours.
The Bel Air Library is located at 100 East Pennsylvania Avenue. For library hours and more information, visit the library website or call 410-638-3151.
