TALE TRAIL AT ROCKFIELD PARK

Rockfield Creative Playground 501 East Churchville Road, Bel Air

Stroll through the Tale Trail at Rockfield park to read Wishes by author Andrea Rowinski. Each page of the beautifully illustrated book will be displayed for you to enjoy while walking the trail at Rockfield.  The journey will begin at the head of the path at Rockfield Creative Playground and is a great opportunity for families to read and stay physically active.  The project is sponsored by Caprichos Books and the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission.

FESTIVAL FOR THE ARTS

BEL AIR FESTIVAL FOR THE ARTS 350 artists, photographers, and craftsmen from Maryland and ten other states will exhibit their work. Continuous live entertainment on the band shell stage, as well as roving entertainment. Great festival food will be available. Free shuttle bus will run 9 am – 5:30 pm from the MVA parking lot on Rt. 24 to the festival site. Rain or shine event. Sponsored by Bel Air Recreation Committee and the Town of Bel Air. PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION ART SHOW  Harford Artists Gallery features a wide selection of original artwork ranging from oil, watercolor, photography, pottery, glasswork, gourds, jewelry, tiles and scarves to name just a few. LIRIODENDRON ART EXHIBIT

Liriodendron Mansion 502 W. Gordon Street, Bel Air

The historic Liriodendron Mansion will host artists Craig Haupt and  Terri Slack Hardwicke in an end of summer art exhibit.  View the historic home and estate grounds of Dr. Howard Kelly while taking in art by local artists. The second floor art gallery is open Sundays 1-4pm and Wednesdays 1-7pm. Admission is free.

THE WOMEN WHO LOVED JOHN WILKES BOOTH

Tudor Hall 17 Tudor Lane, Bel Air

Come to Tudor Hall for a special talk on John Wilkes Booth and the women who loved him. Presented by Kate Ramirez Taylor. She is a 19th century speaker and living historian who specializes in the Lincoln assassination. She also speaks about the events of 1865 through her work at the Dr. Samuel A. Mudd House Museum and Historic Port Tobacco Village. Talk starts at 2:00 pm and lasts about 45 minutes.
