An RFP has been issued for a mural to be located on the south side of Armory Marketplace. The concept for the mural is to honor and celebrate the contributions of our first responders and their courage and dedication while serving our community. First responders include, but are not limited to, police, fire, ambulance, sheriff and EMS staff. The mural will be part of the Bel Air Armory complex which includes the historic Reckord Armory, Armory Park and Armory Marketplace. The Reckord Armory was built in 1915 and is the former home of the Maryland National Guard, America’s original first responders. Interested artists should submit all required information no later than 2:00pm April 11, 2018.
