If you’re a fan of piano driven rock n’ roll\, Josh Christina will restore your confidence in the ability of young musicians to carry on the great tradition of rock’s pioneers. Josh writes his own music\, refurbishes the classics\, and plays a mean piano.  His live show – a mix of everything from Jerry Lee Lewis to Elton John with some originals woven in – appeals to all generations. Josh Christina is a rock n roll revivalist whose music provides a bridge across generational lines by going backward to move into the future. \nThe concert will be held outdoors. Chairs are not provided\, so bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs. If you have limited mobility\, please contact the Liriodendron to arrange for special seating. \nFood and beverages will be available for purchase from local food trucks. \nThe concert begins at 5 pm\, but birthday festivities will take place throughout the day. \nTickets are $15 for adults. Music at the Mansion is excited to welcome Gaelic Mishap back to the Liriodendron for a special outdoor show on Sunday\, August 13 from 5 to 7 pm. \nFormed in 2010\, the Baltimore Celtic Rock band includes musicians who span a generation\, each bringing a unique musical influence to popular traditional and contemporary Irish music. Their performances at the Liriodendron always sell out quickly – get your tickets early! \nTheir energetic and lively music will get you dancing! \nThe concert will be held outdoors. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Village Bistro food truck and Independent Brewing Co. \nGrounds open at 4:00. Concert begins at 5 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults. Kids 12 and under admitted free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Dr. Kelly built the first camp on the 12 mile lake located 4 hours north of Toronto\, and his family and descendants have enjoyed summers there for over 120 years. \nThe Rouse family began going to Ahmic Lake in 1954\, first renting and then owning a camp close to the Kelly compound. \nThis collection of paintings\, photographs\, watercolors\, and woodcuts by members of the Kelly and Rouse families features the beauty of this very special place. Opening on Sunday\, August 13 from 11 am to 3 pm\, the exhibit will be on view every Wednesday from 1 to 6 pm through September 27 and on Sunday\, September 10 from 11 am to 3 pm. County Executive Bob Cassilly and Director of Administration Rob McCord are serving as Honorary Chairs of the event.    \nThis exclusive event will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres\, beer\, wine and a signature cocktail\, and entertainment by Ravita Jazz\, all in the elegant splendor of the historic mansion and lush grounds.  \nProceeds from the event will support the Liriodendron Foundation’s Museum Project – a significant renovation of the mansion’s current Museum Rooms and the addition of museum elements throughout the first floor and garden areas. The project will honor the legacy of Dr. Howard Atwood Kelly and the Kelly family and celebrate local history.  \n The event will be held rain or shine and is open to those 21 years and older.   Garden party attire requested.
