SUMMARY:Spring Dance Lessons: Level 2 - West Coast Swing\, Salsa\, Bachata
DESCRIPTION:This will be the 2nd level of class (continuation of the Winter 2026 Session\, or for those with some experience/knowledge of the styles). At the door sales are NOT available. Must register and pay through Eventbrite. Drop ins for lessons are NOT available. Partner not required.\nMondays\, April 13-May 18\, 2026\n6-7pm–Level 2–West Coast Swing\nThis class will cover starter step variations\, whips\, and styling.No partner is necessary; dancers must know side passes\, basic whip\, sugar push and sugar tuck.\n7-8pm–Level 2–Latin Salsa/ Bachata\nThis class will focus on turns\, hand changes and crossbody leads. No partner is necessary; dancers need an understanding of salsa and bachata basics.\nAbout the Instructor\, Kristen Renshaw\nKristen discovered her passion for ballroom dancing in 2005 after starting at SwingTime Ballroom. She has choreographed countless dances for wedding couples\, introduced dozens of people to Ballroom Dancesport competitions\, and developed a youth ballroom track for dance students and recreational dancers.\nFAQ\nDo I need a partner? No\, you do not need a partner to learn the dance. However\, when waiting for a practice partner or instructor\, please be patient and continue to practice your part.\nAll event updates/communication will be made by email to the email provided upon registration.\nRefunds will not be given for missed sessions; prorated option not available.\nSponsored in part by the Bel Air Arts and Entertainment District through a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council.
